Services for Home Owners

We are an independent HIP provider, and can put your pack together for you to take to your Estate Agent.  We provide you with a professionally printed and bound copy, included in the price, and also an electronic copy on CD. 

We will carry out your Domestic Energy Assessment ourselves, usually within 48 hours of you getting in touch.  We always provide a friendly service, and make ourselves available 7 days a week for you to ask any questions. 

We understand that selling your home is a stressful time, and so we do our very best to keep you up to date with how your pack is progressing.  We generally get your pack to you within one week, although sometimes it takes a bit longer to get your searches back.

We keep low overheads in order to keep our fees to a minimum; this enables us to offer a very competitive rate.

These prices are based on Freehold Properties.  Typically, for a leasehold property there will be no extra charge, as we may be able to secure a copy of the lease from you or your solicitor.  If this is not possible, and we incur a charge from the Land Registry to obtain a copy of the lease, we will pass this on to you at a cost of £25. 

When dealing with unregistered properties, there may be additional charges of up to £50, depending on how much work there is involved in gaining evidence and root of title.  Again, we will need to pass this cost on to you.  We do not believe in charging everyone who has a leasehold or unregistered property the additional fee, as quite often there is no extra charge incurred.  Again, this can help to keep costs down for you.

If you are currently compiling your own pack, and just need an EPC, we can carry this out for you.  You have the peace of mind from knowing you will receive a first class service, and we won’t keep you waiting for days on end to receive the EPC; our aim is to have the report to you within 48 hours from when you get in touch.  We charge £55 for an EPC if your property has up to 5 bedrooms, and £65 for 6 bedrooms.  If your home has more than 6 bedrooms, we will be happy to provide you with a tailored quotation.
